The Close Board fencing is made of vertical feather edged boards that are partially overlapped and fastened to multiple horizontal supporting wooden rails at the back. Close Board panels, which are more durable than standard Waney panels, are typically used for border screening. Each and every Close Board fence panel comes with a top cap.

To preserve the fencing panels from decay, the rough sawn timber has been dip treated.
